Portuguese choreographer Filipa Francisco and composer Antonio Pedro collaborated with traditional Welsh folk dance groups, cloggers and musicians to create a unique promenade performance combining contemporary and traditional dance.
Filipa Francisco developed the performance over several months collaboration with local folk dance groups, introducing them to contemporary dance and learning about Wales’ own folk dance traditions. This innovative process culminated in the co-creation of a brand new performance showcased as part of Adain Avion for the Cultural Olympiad.
